Kathleen opened Advanced Green Home Solutions as an environmental services firm in 2014. Since then, it has grown into a multimillion dollar woman-owned company serving residential, commercial and governmental clients to provide expert energy assessments, weatherization, and renovations to ensure safe and healthy air quality, comfortable homes and offices, and a reduction in energy use and carbon footprints. “My highly skilled and friendly team is the true backbone to our success. Their dedication, service and care towards our clients ranks us top in the industry!” Kathleen is the recipient of the 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award for efforts to support underserved communities, housing rights, and civil rights. She is a successful 20-year campaign manager and fundraiser for federal, state and local elected officials, former statehouse lobbyist for the City of Annapolis, and director of development for the nonprofit Leadership Anne Arundel to assist business and community leaders.
Seth was born and raised in Columbia, MD, and has been helping homeowners solve their energy-related problems since 2013. As an energy auditor, Seth has inspected thousands of residences across Maryland, providing detailed recommendations to improve in-home comfort and efficiency. Currently serving as our project manager, Seth helps to coordinate air sealing, insulation, ventilation and renovation jobs between our retrofit crew and team of certified energy auditors. For Seth, the best part of working for AGHS is getting to help homeowners on a day-to-day basis while contributing to long-term solutions for the environment in the future.
As Advanced Green Home Solution’s Office and Administrative Manager, Isaiah works on maintaining the day to day operations of the company. His primary focus is to keep AGHS residential QHEC business line running as efficiently as possible by creating reports on time, fixing errors, and supporting team members daily. Isaiah’s knowledge of Home Performance and Maryland energy efficiency programs has grown substantially over the last few years. Having worn many hats since joining the industry in 2012, he is committed to the cause of helping Maryland homeowners reduce their energy bills and improve their comfort on the path to sustainability.
Kyle grew up in Carroll County, Maryland. He’s been in the industry since 2015, with experience in all facets of the Energy Star program for both new and existing homes, from auditing and inspection to installation and project management. As the Retrofit Manager, Kyle is responsible for day-to-day tracking, material ordering, quality control, and ensuring that every job is a positive interaction for the customer. Kyle appreciates his part in increasing Maryland’s annual energy savings and the impact that has on the environment. Outside of work, Kyle’s hobbies are hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
Torie was born in Washington DC, spent her childhood in Bowie MD, and always knew she wanted to grow up to help people. Torie found the desired interest in renewable energies & environmental protection. Torie even went on to study and graduate with an energy management degree. Right before graduation, she was hired as an energy auditor with Advanced Green Home Solutions & Torie has enjoyed every moment since. “I enjoy working for Advanced Green Home Solutions because they really do help people, which has always been something I’ve dreamed of doing. Whether it is helping a customer save money on their bills, feel more comfortable in their homes, or saving the planet’s energy consumption, the AGHS team manages to do it all!. Brian was born in Baltimore and has been on the AGHS team since the beginning of 2019. Brian greatly enjoys his dual role as energy auditor and marketer. His favorite part of the job is sitting down with homeowners and helping to solve their problems. Brian is BPI Certified as a Building Analyst and one of his specialty areas is crawl space encapsulation. Brian can diagnose issues that stem from houses built on a crawl space such as cold floors, drafty windows, ineffective heating and cooling and moisture issues.
Rickey was born and raised in Carroll County, Maryland and has been working in the home improvement field for over 25 years. Starting in 1994 with his father’s real estate and construction company, Rickey has grown into a master carpenter, home renovator and all-around handyman. When he’s not fixing things, Rickey likes to spend time with his family and watch the Orioles and Ravens play.
Jesus is a key team member on the crew and spends a good amount of time in the field working in the attic. He is an air sealing specialist with a keen eye for finding cracks, crevices and gaps to seal up for customers that partner with AGHS on their insulation needs.
Claire has a variety of background experience, but one constant is her passion for the environment. Claire enjoys assisting customers when they are experiencing issues from hot & cold rooms in their home, and providing them with the peace of mind that we have solutions that will fit their needs. Helping customers create energy efficient and comfortable homes makes her feel as though she is contributing to a more sustainable society.
